Two Drumheller support descriptions use different residency boundaries. The Older Adult Subsidy Program page says applicants must live in either the Town of Drumheller or Starland County. It describes assistance with fees for eligible participants in some older-adult programs.
The income table on that page is explicitly labelled 2022. A current webpage visit does not turn that table into verified 2026 eligibility guidance. This report does not reproduce those amounts as current thresholds or calculate a household's entitlement. The page directs questions to the seniors program coordinator at seniors@drumheller.ca.
By comparison, the Home Help description on the seniors services page requires clients to be at least 55 and resident within the Town of Drumheller. It lists subsidized light housekeeping, yard maintenance and snow removal. That boundary should not be expanded to Starland County merely because the separate fee-subsidy page includes county residents.
The useful first step is to identify which service is being requested, then confirm that program's current criteria and availability. Similar names and shared municipal contacts do not make two assistance programs interchangeable. Neither page establishes an individual approval, immediate service capacity or a guaranteed discount for every applicant.
