Our primary coverage area is British Columbia’s Fraser Valley: Langley City, Township of Langley, Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs, Hope and neighbouring communities. Our coverage area is an editorial remit, not a claim that all these communities share the same municipal or regional government.

Local government, public safety, housing, transport, business, agriculture, schools, health services, community events and the environment lead our coverage. Selected Canadian and international news provides a wider perspective. Our editorial target is approximately 75% local, 15% Canadian and 10% international reporting; evidence and reader value take priority over quotas.

Our archive

Earlier reporting retains its original place, dates and article links. It is not relabelled as Fraser Valley reporting. Dated news briefs are read on Valley Times, with original sources credited on their reading pages. They remain separate from full articles.
