Drumheller's annual household cleanup schedule assigns Greentree and Huntington to September 23, 2026, followed by Riverside Drive between 5th Street East and Willow Estates on September 24. The town's Community Clean Up page asks residents to sort eligible items and put them at their usual collection point before their designated day. These are scheduled routes, not confirmation that any particular address has already been collected.
The free program accepts oversized or excess household items, but excludes demolition material and commercial or industrial waste. A collection site must not contain more than a half-ton truck's volume, and waste brought from outside municipal boundaries is excluded. The neighbourhood boundary matters: a nearby street's collection date is not automatically an extension for a missed route.
Routine cart service remains a different arrangement. The garbage collection guidance requires residential carts to be out by 7 a.m. and gives a separate missed-collection contact. That weekly-cart rule should not be mistaken for permission to leave any bulky item outside. Residents checking an uncertain item or boundary should use the cleanup instructions before setting it out.
